Scripture: Genesis 37:1-11
“And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren:
and they hated him yet the more” Genesis 37:5 (KJV)
Even in the midst of confusion and commotion, God is still in control. Is it not amazing that Sarah was doing all the things she did in Abraham’s house and yet God was still in control. It was Sarah who caused all the trouble but God still told Abraham listen to her because He was still in control.
Though Joseph’s brothers were envious of him and wanted to kill him, God was in control.
Just when you think the light will go out, just when you think everything will be over; just when you think you will not make it to the next day, God will just flip something. Joseph was thrown into the pit they wanted to abandon him forever; suddenly, God sent some Ishmaelite to come towards his direction that brought him out of the pit and bought him from his brothers.
They thought they had disposed of him forever but unknown to them that they were selling him into his destiny, what a God we serve. Be rest assured that the wisest wisdom of your enemy is foolishness to God, He is always in control.
PRAYER: I have always known that you are in control of my entire situation; I receive the answers to my request today.
FAITH BYTE: God is in control, I am confident I will succeed.
