UNGODLY VICTORY

Scripture: Proverbs 14:9-14

“The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle
of the upright shall flourish.” Proverbs 14:11(KJV)

In a bid to hit the top and stay in the limelight, people have gone to unimaginable heights to achieve their desires. The Bible warns that there is a way that seems right unto a man but its end or reward is death and damnation. This will not be the portion of any believer (Proverbs 14:12).

Ungodly living is a product of our hearts and thoughts.
This is why the scriptures reminds us that the issues of life are resident in our hearts and should be given due care. We must handle the issues of
life with diligence (Proverbs 4:23). God is not pleased with the ungodly. He tells us to be not unequally yoked with the ones who have no qualms to say or act in ways God considers abominable.
The ways of the ungodly leads to shame, frustration and death. The momentary success or victory you achieve by ungodly means is not worth earning God’s displeasure.

Ungodly living may appear to be the norm now but it does not in any way give believers room to be influenced by it. Our standard is God’s word. Our manual for living is the Bible. Nothing more, nothing less. Our daily delight must be the Word. His word shows us the path to true prosperity. Cheating and conning our way to success is not God’s way. Our success is “good” only by God’s
standard (Psalm 1:2; Joshua 1:8). Anything else is compromise and false. Ask God today to make available to you wisdom that will guide you on the right path to godly wealth and honour (Proverbs
8:18). It pays in our pursuit for wealth to remember that it is God who gives us the power to create wealth.

PRAYER: Lord, grant me the wisdom I need to prosper in all facets of life despite the economic situation in Jesus name.
