EXERCISE YOUR FAITH

Scripture: Matthew 17:14-21

“So Jesus said to them for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith
as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here
to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17: 20 (NKJV)

Faith is a spiritual exercise to build your trust in God. Just as you deliberately exercise your body physically to keep fit and healthy, you must also exercise your faith. Your physical exercise does not guarantee good health but exercising your faith guarantees God’s intervention.

The disciples went to Jesus privately to ask Him why they could not cast out the sickness.
His response to them was that it was because of unbelief (v20). Your belief is very important. Your belief must cause you to step out in action. You must respond in action to God’s promises to you. There is no room for fear with faith. Your faith must propel you to move out courageously to take action. It must overlook what you see to focus on what God has said (Isaiah 55:11). This is the secret to winning with faith.

Many describe faith as risky but how can absolute trust in God be a risk? God is not a man; he is not limited by anything. He does not lie. When he says a thing, it comes to pass. God does not and cannot
fail! We simply have not committed to using and activating our faith. Exercise your faith. Use it. Flaunt it. It is your weapon to achieving God’s plans for you.

REMEMBER TO ATTEND: Leadership/Communion Service tomorrow, 5:30PM.
