Scripture: Matthew 6:5-15
"I therefore so run, not as uncertainty; so fight I,
not as one that beateth the air:" 1 Corinthians 9:2 (KJV)
Prayer is an honoured kingdom principle. It is the means by which we communicate with God and it is how God communicates with us. Prayer is not a thing to be done in a haphazard way as some are found guilty of. Sometimes your success, your progress or your blessing can he held up and hindered not because of your speaking negatively but because of your approach to prayer.
Jesus reminds us who a disciple is; he refers to a disciple as the householder who brings forth out of his storehouse treasure that is new, fresh as well as the familiar (Matthew 13:52). This tells us that
we must be armed completely to pray accurately. In praying strategically, we must have a good knowledge incorporating both established principles as well as fresh revelations about what to pray for. This will not only help you achieve victory but keep your prayer life vibrant.
Refuse to sit back and passively watch life happen to you. Be an active participant in how your life turns out. Get actively involved in your own destiny by engaging in strategic prayers. Pray daily, pray day and night and pray defensively (Isaiah 62:6). Be mindful of the fact that the enemy seeks the slightest opportunity to take advantage if you give him room to creep into your life. Reengineer your prayer life today.
PRAYER: Lord, arm me with the wisdom to pray accurately and strategically in Jesus name.
