IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Scripture: Psalm 84:10-12

“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalms 84:10 (NIV)

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be in the presence of God? Do you sometimes desire to live heaven here on earth? God’s presence delivers it to you. The Psalmist describes a day in God’s presence as better than a thousand years anywhere else (v10a).

The presence of God is not merely a physical place (Acts 7:48).
His presence is an experience and how that experience manifests in our lives. Imagine living a life free and void of all worries. A life where pain, loss, sickness or lack does not exist? That is a wonderful experience to have. This is what comes with God’s presence. The bible says in the presence of God, there is fullness of joy and at his right hand, there are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16:11). When you desire his presence and seek it, you attract and experience tangible evidence in your life.

You need to dwell in God’s presence if you desire to attract the benefits due you. It is a conscious choice you must make. Dwelling, in this case, requires quantity and quality. Time spent and spent
well. When you spend time in God’s presence in fellowship, you become like God (James 4:8). Attract and activate his presence by spending time in prayer and praise to him. God is available to
bring his presence to you. Carry his presence and watch your joy become full. Becoming like God gives you authority over your health, finance and so on, manifesting all his desires for you.

PRAYER: I refuse to be distracted, I enjoy dwelling in the presence of God forever in Jesus name

FAITH BYTE: I come to the house of God without grumbling; I dwell in his presence daily and I am transformed.
