TRUST IN GOD

Scripture: Proverbs 3:1-12

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding."
Proverbs 3:5(KJV)

In the early part of the last century, a great ship was constructed. At that time, it was the greatest ever in size, splendour and beauty. It was decked with royal tapestry and exquisite furniture. One thousand five hundred men and women, the cream of the society boarded this revolutionary technological piece.
The maker during the commissioning blurted out proudly, that even God could not sink the ship, yet a piece of ice sank it on its maiden voyage. Today, the majestic Titanic lies irretrievable under the Atlantic in bits and pieces after almost a century.

Many people are on a voyage similar to that of the Titanic in their life. They are at the brink of disaster, yet completely blinded by their own pride. There is a way that seems right unto man but the end thereof is the way of death. There are titanic friendships, businesses, and marriages that seem rock solid but be aware that any venture devoid of God’s endorsement will not stand the test of time.

God's mercy is the reason we are not consumed (Lamentations 3:22). God is not against good things or success; He advocates the best for all. It is God’s will for the believer to manifest excellence, however we are supposed to get our priorities right. God must be first before all. Trust in God completely, let Him be your anchor, and you will never go down.

PRAYER: Lord I pray that every seed of pride in my life will die, giving way to total trust in you always, in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I trust in the Lord with all my heart, in all my ways I acknowledge Him, and He directs my path
