PLAN AHEAD

Scripture: Genesis 6:13-22
“Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he” Genesis 6:22 (KJV)

To achieve success in anything, proper planning is a must. It is very wise to plan ahead and be prepared for every task. By planning ahead, you will be able to spot obstacles before they come, make hay while the sun shines and make the most of every opportunity.

God saw all the evil going on in the world and decided to destroy it with a flood. He instructed Noah to build a huge ark that would contain his family and two of every living creature on earth. Noah could have postponed the project till it was convenient for him or till he started to see signs of the impending flood, but Noah went to work immediately.

Jesus could return at any time (Lk.12:40) and we must be prepared for his coming. Procrastination is one of the major reasons people remain unprepared for his return. Do not postpone God’s call to commit your life to him; it might just be too late. Walk in the ways of God and live your life to please him.  Will you be ready when God calls your name? Remember, do not postpone till tomorrow what you can do today because those who fail to plan, have planned to fail.

PRAYER
Lord, I commit my life to you today; give me the grace to overcome procrastination
in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE
I will plan ahead and accomplish my goals.
