GOD SPEAKS TO EVERYONE

Scripture: Genesis 41:1-5
"And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river." Genesis 41:1 (KJV)

Feedback: Who among your friends encourages and influences you positively.

When God made man, he created him in his own image and likeness (Gen 1:26-27) and he would come regularly to the Garden of Eden to fellowship with him. Today, God wants us to have this same fellowship with him. When we fellowship, we reflect on his majesty and greatness. We draw strength and receive direction from him as we express deep and sincere love and respect for our creator. His protection and guidance also keep us from missing our direction.

As God’s creation dependent on Him for sustenance, there is always need for interaction and fellowship with Him. A lot of us are, not always ready or available for this fellowship with God. We are busy, distracted or simply not willing to connect with him. We forget that God can stop our schedule to speak to us or anyone that pleases him if he so chooses. Pharaoh was not a believer, but God chose to show him the future in a dream. Today, God still speaks, but are you  willing to listen?

God was so concerned about a nation of unbelievers that He chose to send a message of salvation through their king. If He can do this through a heathen king, then, you have a super advantage as God’s child. God wants to engage with you every moment. He is ready and willing to lead you through that still small voice. Spend quality time in fellowship with Him and understand how He communicates with those He calls His own. When you do this, you will hear Him speak expressly to you.

Reflection: What are those things that are preventing me from daily consistent connection with God?

PRAYER:
Lord, help me to be sensitive to your voice as you speak to me in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE:
I hear the voice of God as he speaks to me, every moment of my life.

This Week Walk of Faith: As God to speak to you this week as you persistently dwell on His word.
