Scripture: Isaiah 8:16-21
“To the law and to the testimony…….(without) this word,
they have no light of dawn” Isaiah 8:20
Whatever leading or prophecy anybody claims to be having that does not agree with the written word is not of God. The written word is the litmus test for every supernatural sign. The new living translation of our text reads ‘‘check their predictions against my testimonies (the written word), says the LORD”.
If their predictions are different from mine (Gods word), it is because there is no truth or light in them.”
A certain pastor said once that he will do anything to succeed in life and ministry; Even if it does not agree with the written word of God. He said that at certain times, leadings may not really agree with the word of God. This notion is wrong. God is not the author of confusion.
Whatever manifestation there is, that is contrary to the written word of God must be rejected and discarded. If it does not agree with scriptures it is not from God.

PRAYER: Thank you LORD for giving me your word to direct me.
FAITH BYTE: I accept the word of God as the final proof for every move and leading.
