Scripture: Proverbs 16:1-17
“The preparations of the heart in man and the
answer of the tongue is from the Lord”. Proverbs 16:1
The signs of a man whose heart is prepared can be seen in his ways – his conduct, attitude and actions. A prepared heart does not stay without spending time in God’s presence. He enjoys waiting on God in fellowship by praying and receiving instructions from God and His word.
When a prepared heart appears, confidence, determination and focus is apparently seen in him; the glory of God is manifestly seen all over him (just as it was with Moses when he came out from the mountains); He is sensitive and alert – because he is a planner and strategist. Pride and iniquity cannot be found in a man whose heart is prepared.
A prepared heart will please the Lord always. He will not do anything outside God’s word. He is a man of faith. What can you say about yourself? Do you have a prepared heart, if not, it is your duty to prepare your heart daily in prayers, bible study and serving God, till you become a man after God’s own heart.
PRAYING: Cause me to walk with a prepared heart, so that I do not miss your way.
FAITH BYTE: I am a prepared man in all I do. Therefore, I succeed and excel everywhere I go.
