PASS THE TEST

Scripture: Exodus 12:29-30

“And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord…” Exodus 12:29a (NKJV)

Spiritual growth requires tests. Just as we have tests in everyday life in the form of aptitude tests, exams and so on, we also have tests in the realm of the spirit that we need to pass to move to our next level.

One of the tests we will need to pass is the test of trust. Our trust in God will be tested. Unfortunately, this is where people get confused and fall by the wayside, choosing to go back to things that are quicker and easier for them. We must learn to trust God through the darkness of the night, right up to the midnight hour.
 

The children of Israel witnessed God’s mighty hand in the plagues He wrought upon the Egyptians, but their salvation was not in any of those plagues. The manifestation of their salvation came at a time when it seemed as if nothing would touch Pharaoh’s heart of stone. They trusted God and were ready to move with Him when the appointed time came.

Pass your test today and be promoted.
