Scripture: Isaiah 6:1-8
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts: ……Isaiah 6:4
The prophet had a most splendid vision. He was granted the privilege of beholding the very throne of the most high and the sacred activities that excite Jehovah. The Seraphims - six winged angels that surround God’s throne. All they do is worship God by proclaiming his heavenly holiness and announce that the whole earth is full of his glory.
In this atmosphere of intense and persistent worship that thrills and gladdens the Almighty God. Verse 4 unveils the power that is released as they worshipped.
Worship provokes the release of God’s mighty power .It invokes the might of God and He reacts from his throne .This was Paul and Silas experience who through worship and praise extended Gods throne into the Philippians jail. No wonder the prison house quaked and every chain broke.
Oh that we will linger in God’s presence and proclaim His holiness. Then just like the Seraphims, we will experience the unleashing of His mighty powers. What can resist his glory?
PRAYER: Lord, let the spirit of true worship come upon me in Jesus Name.
