Scripture: Esther 9:20-32
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:16-17 (NIV)
Purim is a Hebrew word meaning to cast lots. It signifies
the day Haman had chosen based on the lots to wipe out the Jews. His plans were aborted by God after the
Jews had sought the face of God. Their evil plan against
God’s children became their personal experience.
Till today,
the Jews celebrate Purim as the day when destruction of the
Jews was turned to victory.
God has made a grand Purim for all men on the cross of
Calvary. On that day, he turned the destruction of mankind
into victory for all those who will believe. God is constantly
turning the wicked plans of the devil concerning us to
victories, creating a daily Purim for us.
As a Christian, you should acknowledge everyday as your
Purim and celebrate. You have to show gratitude to God daily
for his mercies, love and victories over secret battles plotted
by our enemies. Each day marks a new chapter of successes
against failures, disappointment, depression and satanic
plot. Count your blessing and name them one by one and you
will see and be surprised at what the Lord has done. Rejoice
in the doings of the Lord because the enemy and his cohort
have failed.
PRAYER: Lord, help me rejoice for
the daily victories you
wrought on my behalf
in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: I celebrate my victory
for the enemy has
been defeated.
