PRINCIPLE OF SOWING

Scripture: Hosea 10:12-13

“Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:8 (NLT)

Biblically, sowing means more than just an agricultural principle. It is a principle of give and take (Gal. 6:7).Those who sow in sin should expect to receive what sin naturally produces which is death. Whoever sows righteousness will reap what righteousness offers which is life.

Sowing is God’s principle.
You need to realise that your action is the conduit through which you sow and the measure with which you sow will deliver to you the same harvest. How this principle of sowing works is a mystery to some people. Many wonder how they will reap what they have sown. When you sow a good seed, what you will receive in return is only known to God. Sometimes it may be eternal reward; at other times, he may use people to bless you. He can put ideas into your business that can take you to the next level in life. He can also put away that ugly incident that is about to happen unknown to you.

Your focus should not be on figuring out how God chooses to reward you when you sow. Rather, give focus to planting good seeds backed up with the word of God and then expect a miracle. Put your faith to work today and see what God will do. When you plant, simply thank God for the seed and believe him to do the rest. He never fails to come through with the harvest.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to sow right, with a joyful and thankful heart in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: As I sow good, God brings my miracle.
