Scripture: Isaiah 45:1-4;
1 Kings 17:2-6
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth;
shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert”
Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
God is sovereign, all knowing, all powerful and
everywhere at the same time. No circumstance escapes his notice or gets out of his control. Nothing
happens by chance because no detail of our lives eludes
him.
As our creator, he knows just what is right for us and can
help us make choices that are best for us if we let him.
As humans, we tend to limit ourselves to our circumstances
and base our decisions on them. When we do this, we hinder
ourselves from accessing the help of God available to us and
the implication of this is that we will become held down by our
self-imposed limitation. Allowing circumstances influence
our choices and decisions robs us of God’s blessings. What
may appear like a closed door may actually be a door waiting
to be knocked on and opened (Matt. 7:8). We must not let the
danger signals our mind project hold us back from going
forward.
The truth is that God always makes a way where there seems
to be no way because nothing is impossible with him. His
thoughts and ways are higher than ours. No circumstance is
beyond him. God has the ability to change situations and
circumstances in your favor. Simply acknowledge his
awesome power and submit to his direction. If you trust him,
he will take absolute control of your situation and change
things in your favour.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to make
decisions that are in line
with your word and never to
depend on situations around
me, in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: I can see everything
turning around
for my good.
