Certain phases or experiences in life can be very puzzling and unsettling but no matter the heat, faith in God will bring you out. No matter the situation in which we find ourselves,
our faith in God will always attract the grace of God upon us and on everything we do.
Though the Canaanites had iron chariots (v19), Israel had God on their side and the promise that he would drive the heathens out of their midst. But when they failed to completely drive out the heathens as God had instructed them, these heathens became and remain a thorn in their flesh to this day. The Israelites failed to realize that the iron chariots were no match for God. All they needed was an unwavering and confident faith in God, the only one who can save and deliver.
Real faith does not only dissolve the mountains and iron chariots of our lives but also reminds God of our dependence and trust in him. God’s power at work in us can only be as potent as we believe it to be. If you are ill and believe God for healing, you will be healed. If you believe him for a successful surgery, you will have it. If you trust him to cure you while taking medications, he will work with you. God operates with us at our level of faith even while he desires that we grow in our faith. Are you growing in your faith?
PRAYER: Lord, I refuse to allow unbelief hinder me from receiving all you have freely given me, in Jesus name.
