YOU NEED TO PRAY

Scripture: Luke 22:39-46

“And he said to them, “Why are you sleeping?
Get up and pray that you may not fall into temptation.”
Luke 22:46 (AMP)

Prayer is a means of communicating with God and for every single living believer, consistent prayer is an absolutely necessary way of life (Luke 18:1, 1 Timothy 2:8). It is a command from God that we must adhere to because failure to do so constitutes sin (1 Samuel 12:23).
Prayer is an act of worship to God, a principal gateway for receiving power and building intimacy with God.

Jesus our Lord also had to pray (Mark 1:35). Infact He even prayed harder than any mortal man ever recorded in the history of the scriptures till date. Inspite of who He was, Jesus prayed till He sweated blood. You simply have no choice but to pray.

Like every other instruction from God, the command to pray is not for His own benefit but yours. Simply make the decision right now to amp up your personal prayer life. From now on the last and first thing you ought to do every day is pray. Drop all excuses and simply cut down on things eating up the time you could use for prayer. Time spent with God in prayer is never time wasted but time invested.

PRAYER: Lord, fire up my prayer life and remove all obstacles to effective prayer from my life in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I am strong, focused, and fired up to pray always, therefore, I am walking in the power and supernatural favor of God!
