MAKE YOUR HEART A FERTILE GROUND

Scripture: Mak 4:10-20

“others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it,
and produce a crop – thirty, sixty or even a hundred times
what was sown”. Mark 4:20 (NIV)

If you want a harvest of crops from your seed, you must sow into a fertile ground. A good farmer wouldn’t sow his seed just anywhere; He’s trained to cultivate the soil so his seed can produce much harvest. The Lord Jesus likened the heart of man to the soil in the parable of the sower. In Mark 4:2-8, in the same vein,
if you want the word of God to produce results in your life, you must make your heart a fertile ground to receive the word.

The first thing you must do is cultivate the ground of your heart in readiness for the seed of the word of God. The bible says in Jeremiah 4:3 “break up your fallow ground and sow not among thorns”. This is done by praying in tongues, it acts as the water and fertilizer, for your heart always keeps at it until you’re charged in the spirit.

I encourage you to make effort always to create the right environment for the word in your heart. This is how to make the harvest of the word in thirty, sixty or even a hundred times as much as was planted in your heart. Make every word count by plowing your heart daily through praying in tongues.
