When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, with a strong and mighty hand, the other nations around them were afraid to go to war against them. These nations were not afraid of Israel’s military might or power, but because of the glory of God ever present with them (v.6-7). Israel, however, soiled their relationship with God through disobedience to him.
A lot of believers feel they can do whatever they wish at any given situation as long as they achieve their desired result. This can result in believers suffering from demonic manipulation, frustration and oppression from the hands of the enemy. God is no respecter of man or social status and he will not share his glory with anyone. Our sole duty as Christians is to submit ourselves and our will to God’s will. His will is greater and higher than our will. The beauty of his glory can depart from our lives if we continue to disobey him and go contrary to his will (Gen. 6:3). Your decision today to put God first and always submit to him in obedience will secure his presence in your life.
Reflection:
What am I doing constantly to maintain His glory over my life?
PRAYER:
Lord, help me to continually walk in obedience to you so I can enjoy the beauty of your glory in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE:
I put God first; I submit to him in obedience and his presence goes with me always.
This Week Walk of Faith:
Start by obeying the great commission, witness to at least 2 person this week. (Share about the beauty of His glory)
