BE PATIENT

Scripture: 2 Samuel 15:6-10, 18:14-15

“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)

Many folks expect instant miracles and answers once they make any request to God; if it does not occur as quickly as they had anticipated, they lose hope and try something else. God is a miracle worker but he is not a magician. For example a woman cannot ask for the fruit of the womb today, go through conception, gestation and deliver the baby by tomorrow morning.

Most times, there is usually a process and season of preparation before manifestation of answers to prayers. People have ambitions that they want to achieve within unrealistic time frames and consequently resort to dangerous means to obtain them. There is a period of capacity and character building necessary for every dream to be achieved.

We must learn to encourage ourselves in the Lord and be anxious for nothing especially during such seasons. Let’s learn to take things one step at a time. The Lord makes all things beautiful in His time (Eccl. 3:11a) whether it be in our business, marriage or academic plans, He will bring them into full manifestation in His time because He blesses the work of our hands (Deut 15:10).

PRAYER:
Lord, thank you for giving me the grace to be patient in my endeavours in Jesus name, Amen.

FAITH BYTE:
I know my Lord will do his perfect will for me. I refuse to be anxious and worried.
