YOU ARE DOING IT FOR JESUS

Scripture: Acts 7:20-24 (KJV)

“And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart
to visit his brethren the children of Israel.”
Acts 7:23 (KJV)

Have you ever been in a situation where you needed someone’s help so urgently? Maybe you were going through very tough and difficult times or feeling so lonely, needing desperately to talk to someone who could encourage you and share your burdens. We’ve all been there, at one time or the other, and sometimes we feel like yielding to defeat at the point where the help is right before us.

Although Moses was well learned and reputed among Egyptians, he did not abandon his brethren who were mere slaves. He did not see himself as too highly placed to interact with them. One day he visited them and also alas, one of his kinsmen was in trouble and he was right there to help.

You can be a great help to someone in trouble right now. Many times, we get this strange urge in your spirit to call or visit somebody. You do not need to have a special urge for t is when you visit other brethren that you really know what they are going through. Maybe you ‘re the solution to that problem of theirs, because it is when you render help to someone that you get solution to that which you are passing through. Be your brother’s keeper and let God in turn be your keeper.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, make me a channel of blessing, even the vessel through which you can give someone solution to his/her problems today.

FAITH BYTE: I am my brother’s keeper. I walk in love with my brethren.
