PRAYER ATTRACTS AUTHORITY

Scripture: Acts 3:1-10

“For he taught them as one having authority,
and not as the scribes.” Mathew 7:29 (KJV)

Besides providing an avenue for you to report everything that threatens your peace and joy, prayer brings the fullness of the spirit. Prayer gives us boldness to declare God's word.

When you pray effectively, it provokes the Holy Spirit to come close to help you but where you fail to pray, you keep him at bay.
In James chapter 4 verse 8, we are enjoined to draw near to God and
this can be achieved through prayers. One hundred and twenty believers were together praying in the upper room when the Holy Spirit descended during the feast of the Pentecost and they were all baptised by his power (Acts 2:1-4). Prayer works great miracles. When you pray the Holy Spirit fills the space within you; you become full of him and he guides your intercession. You can be filled with the Holy Spirit as often as you require him to fill you. If you are always full of the spirit, you will be empowered to live a fulfilling life.

Prayer gives every believer the boldness to declare God's word. There is a link between prayer, the word and authority. If you tarry in the place of prayer and declare the word, you grow to understand the authority you have. Prayer makes the difference. It made a difference in the ministry of the Apostles (Acts 3:5-8) They understood their authority and used it effectively. Are you exercising your authority in the place of prayer? Make impact today, pray in the authority of the name of Jesus.

PRAYER: Lord, give me understanding to exercise my authority in the place of prayer in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I exercise my authority in the place of prayer and I make great impact.
