Scripture: Acts 13:38-43
“Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much
more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” Romans 5:9 (NIV)
The devil is a master accuser and he will always try to bring man down by heaping accusations on him. He will always remind you of all the wrongs you have done and give you the impression that your sins are too much for you to be worthy of God’s forgiveness and love. However, God is a merciful father and He forgives when you come to Him in repentance.
The death of Jesus gives man access to God’s forgiveness from every wrong. Christ’s atoning death tore the veil of separation between man and God. It gives us direct access to our Heavenly Father. There is no wrong God will not forgive. The death of Jesus frees you from the burden of sin and the weight of condemnation. You do not have to bear them any longer. There is no need to be ashamed when you have a loving father willing to open his arms wide to you in forgiveness
Do not let the devil deceive you into thinking that there is no hope for you. Run to God today and repent of your sins because you have been granted access to Him through the price Christ paid on the cross. If you do not surrender to God and still live in iniquity, you will not make it into heaven. No sin is too big for God to forgive. Do not carry that burden any longer, ask God for forgiveness now!
PRAYER: Lord, please forgive me for erring against you, and help me to stand right with you in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: The blood of Jesus sets me free from sin and gives me direct access to my Heavenly Father.
