Scripture: Matthew 26:6-13
“...what this woman has done will be told as a memorial to her” Matthew 26:13 (NKJV)
No gift or sacrifice should ever be considered too big for God. God is everything good, and more to you and He deserves nothing but your best. You must therefore never hesitate to give God your best, and the first place in your life’s affairs. You may not be the wealthiest person around, or have all that you need,
but even then, you must also be willing to give God your everything, when He demands it of you, just as Abraham did with Isaac.
The woman in our key scripture recieved the commendation of Jesus Christ, for expressing her love and reverence for Him with her box of alabaster oil. By sacrificing to Jesus Christ what propbably was her most treasured earthly possession, she got not just Jesus’ praises but was immortalized! Jesus says wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, her deed will also be told in memory of her (Mathew 26: 6 – 13).
You must always be willing to offer your all to God the same way He gave up His Only Son to die for our salvation. What are you doing with all that God has blessed you with? What kind of worship and ministry are you offering to God? How are you using your time, finance, talents and worship to Him? Do you give your best, or the rest to God? Your relationship with God should be based less on what you expect of Him, and more on how you can express your love for Him. God deserves your all so hold back nothing from Him.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to let go of anything that will hinder me from worshipping you with all I have in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: I serve God with my all, I will not withold anything from Him.
