It is a common feeling, that circumstances where you find yourselves alone, you look around and everybody seems to be ignoring you. This usually happens to Christians just when they get born again, and it can be disheartening, especially because you do not know what the future holds. People who used to be your closest friends, pallies and that used to be your source of happiness will flicker out like a burnt-out candle stick.
You need to be the determined to stand, no matter what.
As a believer you need to stand and hold fast the word of God (1Thess 2:15.). Trials and tribulation will surely come, because that is the strategy of the devil to steal that authority that has been given to you. Sometimes you doubt if God is really there, remember God’s word never lies all you need is to call upon him.
What is it that you are passing through today that seems to weigh you down? Paul the apostle writing to Timothy in 2 Tim 4; 16-17; “all men forsook me notwithstanding the Lord stood with me”. No matter the size of your situation God will always be by you to see you through it. All you need to do is to ask for help from Him, do your bit and leave the rest for God, fully assured that you can never be alone.
PRAYER: O Lord help me to be able to stand for you even when it seems to be lonely.
