Scripture: Exodus 33:7-14
“And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face,
as a man speaketh unto his friend.” Exodus 33:11a
Developing a strong relationship with God through prayer does not happen overnight. It develops with you giving it time and commitment. It is a friendship kind of thing. Aristotle said, “Wishing to be a friend is quick work, but friendship is a slow ripening fruit”.
This is time for the fruit of your prayer life to ripen.
An hour with God daily will rapidly change your life. You will totally develop into the person God wants you to be, you will become useful to the kingdom in ways that will shock you. Your urge to and for prayer changes, you don’t feel comfortable without praying. You feel incomplete, weak and hungry to pray. Moses spent significant time with God till he became a friend of God.
Even if you cannot start out with an hour, start with what you can the key is being consistent daily. You will soon want more and more, until you start praying without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Have a lovely life of fellowship with your father.
PRAYER: Draw me to a place of deep intimacy with you in prayer lord.
FAITH BYTE: By faith, I declare that I am becoming more intimate with God. My life is rapidly and positively changing and all eyes are seeing his work in me.
