GIVE GOD THE GLORY

Scripture: Daniel 4:30-32; Acts 12:21-24
“…No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven”. John 3:27 (NLT)

All glory in heaven and on earth belongs to God alone. All credit belongs to God for whatever we wish to achieve and have obtained; and for whatever we wish to overcome and have surmounted. We must acknowledge God for his part in our successes and victory.

King Nebuchadnezzar and Herod were both rulers of different kingdoms at different times in history. They both had power, dominion and wealth. However, they both made the same mistake: they both accorded undue credit unto themselves and failed to acknowledge or glorify God for their success. They paid the price for their pride and suffered immense humiliation.

We ask and believe God for breakthrough, divine intervention and blessings yet when they manifest, we ignore the source. We boast and recount to others about our prowess and forget the power behind our action and result. Remember that by strength shall no man prevail (1 Sam. 2:9). All that you are, have and can ever be is by God’s grace (James 1:17, 4:13-17). Live knowing this and God will continue to make you a wonder to your generation. Do not let pride cut short your story. Give God his due place so all glory will go to him.

PRAYER:
Lord, take away pride from me so I can glorify you in all things in Jesus name, Amen.

FAITH BYTE:
I acknowledge God’s grace in my life and he continues to manifest his glory in my life.
