TRUST IN GOD

Scripture: Isaiah 41:8-10
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagle. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

Many Christians, today are trusting in their own abilities rather in God. They would rather trust in their fellow man or on powerful connections. Trusting God requires that you believe he loves you and has the power to help you. This is the reason that when you got born again you were called a believer.
Jesus says that without him, we can do nothing (Jn. 15:5). We need to lean on and depend on him for help with everything in our lives. Many believers, however, go to church, hear the word, know God’s will but only do God’s will when it aligns with what they want. When a Christian attempts to have a go at life on their own terms, it can lead to struggles, difficulty and desperation. A believer cannot afford to leave God out of his affairs because he needs God’s grace as his sustenance. As God’s servant, he wants us to put our confidence and trust in him every time and in all things (v.8).

Life is simple and peaceful when we let go and let God. Do you trust in God or your bank accounts, friends and associates? You must learn to trust God alone. If you must run in life without fainting you must say to him today “Lord, I do not want to live on my own, I choose to trust you.” Then develop a strong spirit by studying and meditating on his promises to you. You will hear him speaking to your heart in reassurance that he will not fail you.

PRAYER:
Lord, give me the grace to totally put my trust in you in Jesus name, Amen.
FAITH BYTE:
I will continue to soar high on wings like eagles.
