Scripture: 1 Samuel 3:1-10
“...speak Lord, for thy servant heareth. 1 Samuel 3:10 (KJV)

Alot of people say they do not hear from God. This, however, does not mean that God does not speak. He speaks to his children and still calls his servants into ministry from time to time. The Lord speaks in various ways and his call will continue until we yield to him. We can learn how and when he calls us by studying ways he has done so in the past. We can ask through the Spirit so God can give us insight as how to hear from him. Eli taught Samuel what to do when he hears “the voice” because Samuel persistently sought to know the source of the voice. Endeavour not to relent on your efforts to hear his voice.

God has not stopped speaking. He is ready to speak to you today. Search the word, know who God is. An intimate relationship with him will bring you closer to him and enable you to hear his voice when he speaks to you. You prepare your heart to hear him when you walk in obedience to his word (Jn. 10:27). Ask the Holy Spirit today for understanding to enable you know when he is calling out to you.

REMEMBER TO ATTEND: Leadership/Communion Service tomorrow, 5:30PM.

Lord, help me to prepare my  heart always to hear from you in Jesus name, Amen.

I belong to the Lord’s sheepfold. I hear, recognize and obey His voice when he speaks.
