USE YOUR GIFT

Scripture: Matthew 25:14-30

“To those who use well what they are
given, even more will be given, and they will
have an abundance. But from those who do
nothing, even what little they have will be away.”
Matthew 25:29 (NLT)

Biology teaches how during reproduction, of the millions of sperm cells that are released during copulation, usually only one or a few would succeed in fertilizing the female egg to form a foetus. The fact that you are alive is a miracle and a privilege. Your birth and life is for a purpose
and you are truly not living if you have not discovered God’s purpose for making and sustaining you.

God is a God of purpose, and He has a purpose, unique to you, which you must work towards fulfilling, daily. Abundant in you, are all the resources you need to fulfill that purpose. What are your gifts and talents? What are you excellent at doing? What activities bring you and others joy and satisfaction? Jesus’ parable of the talents is a lesson on how not to misuse or take our talents and gifts for granted.

It will be a great disservice to humanity, and dishonor to God if you bury your talents. Pray the Holy Spirit to reveal your talents to you if you have not discovered it yet. When you depend on the Holy
Spirit to guide you into your area of gifting, and how to use it, service becomes a thing of joy. You will find fulfillment even while fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. Give God glory through your gifts.

REMEMBER TO ATTEND: MAP Meeting (Home Fellowship) tomorrow.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for my life and talents. Please, give me the grace to use it for your glory and the benefit of others in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I am an asset. I glorify God and serve man with my gifts.
