DELIVERANCE FROM THE WICKED

Scripture: Acts 12:1-11

“And when Peter was come to himself,
he said; now I know of a surety that the
Lord hath sent his angel and hath delivered
me out of the hands of Herod, and from all the
expectations of the people of the Jews.”
Acts 12:11 (KJV)

Feedback: Consider the pleasures of staying in God’s presence.

God throws his weight around on behalf of those who obey his commands. His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on the behalf of those whose hearts are perfect towards Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). In the course of doing God’s work, you will stir the anger of the
enemy and he will set out to destroy you but God is more than able to keep His children safe.

Joseph was wrongly accused and put in the dungeon and God made him a prime minister from jail in Egypt. Daniel was plotted against and thrown into the Lion’s den and God made him head of the wise men of Babylon; Peter in our study today, was temporarily put in jail awaiting execution but the Lord showed up and delivered him miraculously from the Jailers grip.

We have a God who is the same yesterday today and forever and he is still in the business of delivering His own from the grips and entanglements of wickedness. He is able to deliver you from that storm the enemy is bringing your way. Only be strong in the Lord and do not deviate from the right path. God will surely save you in the nick of time. (Isaiah 35:4)

Reflections: How much do I trust God for my deliverance?

PRAYER: Lord, I hand over my storms to you today to through the Holy Ghost my helper and comforter.

FAITH BYTE: I stand firm in the midst of the storms knowing that God is in the midst of it.

This Week's Walk of Faith: Make it a duty to visit, prayer with and for at
least two people in your fellowship (home cell) or church, this week.
