GOD IN POWER

Scripture: Acts 8:1-8

“He said to them, “Go into all the
world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
Mark 16:15 (NIV)

The instruction to go into the world and preach the gospel is a non-negotiable mandate that applies to all believers. Most times because of the fear of rejection, ridicule, or persecution, some believers hold back from adhering to this God given mandate. But it is important to note that the same power that Jesus had is available for the believer today, so fear should not be a barrier to populating the kingdom of God.
We must not allow the fear of rejection, criticism or even death, deter us from reaching out in love to the drowning souls.

We must increase our appetite to evangelize beyond our comfort zones and circles of influence, just like the early Christians did, so that we can win multitudes for the kingdom of God. Philip preached the word and performed signs and wonders to the glory of God and all who witnessed this were in awe of God. We must reach out and demonstrate to the world the wondrous power of God.

Jesus Christ did not spare any cost to save us. He willingly, endured pain, shame, humiliation and eventually death, to bring us salvation, even when we did not deserve it. The early apostles also made untold sacrifices to continue the work Jesus started and passed on the message of salvation to us. You must allow the move of the Holy Spirit and the love for souls overwhelm your fear because God has given you the same power and authority hat Jesus has.

PRAYER:  Lord, cause a passion for souls overwhelm my fear for soul-winning in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I am dedicated and passionate to the cause of the kingdom; I take Jesus to others.
