THE RIGHT ENVIRONMENT

Scripture: Mark 4:13-20

“By their fruit you will recognize them.
Do people pick grapes from thorn-bushes,
or figs from thistles?”
Matthew 7:16 (NIV)

It may seem reasonable to blame the seed when the harvest is poor but it is of importance to note that the condition of the soil, also, determines the outcome of the seed. The seed is the talent or ability that God has put inside of you. The soil is your environment and where the seed dwells.

Everyone has a seed. However, the reason some people bring forth massive harvests while others struggle is due to the quality of their soil.
Bad soil can compromise your seed and cause famine in your land. People hear and accept God’s word but when they go out and are confronted by the forces in their environment, they get discouraged and become corrupt, thereby, stunting the growth of the seed God has embedded in them. The word of God will have no effect on your life no matter how much you hear it if you operate in an environment that has a contrary influence on you. How can you succeed when all you see around and associate with is failure?

Identify the bad soil in your environment and get out of it. Allow God to transplant you and detach you from vision killers even if they are family, friends or habits. God changed Joseph’s environment so that he could prosper. It might seem hard to let go of certain relationships and habits but developing godly habits and relationships will put you in an environment that will be conducive for the seed God has planted in you to prosper.

PRAYER: Lord, place me in a good soil so that the seed you have placed in me will not be wasted
in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I am connected to the right environment that will cause my seed to prosper.
