Scripture: 2 Kings 13:14-19
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness
of joy: at thy right hands there are pleasures for evermore.”
Psalms 16:11 (KJV)
Prophet Elisha puts his hands upon the King’s hand, signifying the hand of God imparting strength and direction. It was to guide the King as he prepared for action. Note that, it was the king who first put forth his hands in obedience to divine instruction. That is to say, you must take a step (action) for God’s hand to wrap it up.
The hand of God provides the anointing and the favour you need in that office or business. It provides all that it takes to cause that venture to flourish and survive competition.
The Bible tells of the hand of God upon Elijah and he overtook a racing chariot with his legs. The hand imparted upon him an unusual anointing for speed, and he overtook a locomotive with his legs. As the hand of God rest upon you today, it will give you speed, spiritual instruction, divine ideas and spiritual guidance.
God will become your coach. The bible says, “God teaches our hands to war” (Psalm 18:34), He directs our steps (Proverbs 3:6), and “you shall hear a voice behind you, he will tell you where to go”. God shall not leave you confused, he will coach you to succeed and prevail in Jesus name.
