BIND THE DEVIL

Scripture: Luke 10:17-20

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord,
even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
Luke 10:17 (KJV)

Feedback: Share what you encountered while sharing God’s love with others.

Sickness is of the devil. I read an account of a woman diagnosed of breast cancer; she was skinny and bony, completely emaciated. A man of God was invited to pray for her. While he was praying, God opened his eyes in the realm of the spirit. He saw a little demon like the size (shape) of a monkey hanging by her shoulder.
That was the spirit of infirmity perpetrating the cancer and it was meant to hang on to her until she died, and then it will go to another member of the family. The man of God bound the demon in the name of Jesus and commanded it to get out and the woman got her healing.

The devil is a foe already fallen (verse 18). Jesus has given us authority over all his agents and power (verse 19). Use the authority and power given to you to bind and resist him. The bible says, the devil is like a roaring lion, it goes about seeking whom to devour. The power of the Holy Ghost in you is sufficient to bind and rebuke the devil causing hurts and harm in your life.

Reflection: What are the things that are keeping me from total trust in God?

PRAYER: In the name of Jesus I command every spirit warring against me to bow and get out.

FAITH BYTE: I trample upon serpent and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.

This Week Walk of Faith: Search the Bible for at least 3 authority scriptures and continue to
assert your authority over the devil by confessing these scriptures all through the week.
