Scripture: Proverbs 3:1-12
“But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." Luke 11: 28 (KJV)
God's words and principles are timeless truths that do not require any addition or subtraction. Be that as it may, some people are still not receptive and hardhearted towards the Word of God thereby making themselves impossible candidates for the blessings that lie within.
When you receive God's commands into your heart and put them to practice, the profit is a satisfying longevity and peace. You can never hear too much of the Word because your heart can and will accommodate as much as you permit it to. Always pay attention to the Word of God, study it, internalize it, and live according to it. This is the secret to lasting peace and prosperity.
Continuous hearing and studying of the Word of God is the sure way to restock your heart while receiving divine instructions. Keeping God’s instructions is a sure way to be blessed (Luke 11:28). Do not take God’s word for granted and treat it as words you need to hear only on Sundays in church and dump right after. Put God’s word on the front line of your life. Make it a guiding principle for your daily existence and for your life.
