CONFIDENCE IN WISDOM
Scripture: Proverbs 3:21-26
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)
Everyone has, at some point in time, succumbed to fear and many still currently live in constant fear. In an attempt to deal with the fear, some resort to substance abuse while some enter into destructive relationships. They usually end up in a bigger mess than where they started.
Confidence cannot be faked, purchased or acquired through short-cuts. It grows when people apply deliberate effort to grow in knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
The word of God is the surest guarantee to succeeding in any situation including coming out of a fearful life. It is the greatest source of knowledge and wisdom. Many Christians even with the knowledge of His word still wallow in fear and shame. The secret to having peace of mind and expelling fear from your life is living in God’s wisdom. How can you obtain this wisdom?
Christ is the ultimate repository of wisdom and knowledge. When you meditate and practice his word through faith, obstacles are reduced to nothing. Only Christ can give you rest in the midst of all your troubles. He can restore your confidence without the assistance of any man or thing. Are you willing to let the wisdom of God in all its manifestations guide you henceforth? Call upon the Holy Spirit to take charge right now.
PRAYER: Lord, cancel every spirit of fear, recreate confidence in me and give me the boldness to go about your business in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me
