OVERLOOK NO ONE

Scripture: Judges 11:1-11

He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.” Proverbs 21:21 (NIV)

For 18 years, the sons of Israel were greatly distressed and afflicted in Gilead. The solution to their freedom, peace and comfort was in the hands of the son of a prostitute and a fugitive – Jephthah. In the same way, the solution to our challenge could be with someone we consider inconsequential.
The way you treat this person can determine if you will ever receive the help you need.

The bible gives an account of a little city with few men living within it. When a great king came against it, besieged it and built great bulwarks against it, it was a poor man who by great wisdom delivered the city (Eccl. 9:14-15).What would have been the fate of that city if they had ignored and despised the poor man’s wisdom? What would have become of Namaan if he or his wife had despised and ignored the advice of the slave girl who lived with him? David may not have rescued his family if he had ignored the Egyptian slave he met on the way.

Everyone is valuable to God and he can use anyone to bring comfort and deliverance to you. But if you despise or ignore them, you may never get the breakthrough you seek. Jesus came humbly and unattractively to the world, yet he is the saviour of the world. Make a decision to treat everyone you meet cordially and with respect. Your promotion is here and you will not miss it in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Lord, I choose to treat all your creation with love and respect in Jesus name

FAITH BYTE: I connect to the person who will lead me to my rest.
