Scripture: Proverbs 3:1-12
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,…” Romans 15:13a (NIV)
There are a lot of smart people everywhere in the world today but just how far can intelligence take anyone? Without total trust in God and surrender to Him, you can only get as far as your brain can comprehend but when you are backed up by the all-knowing God, there is no limit to what you can achieve. (Isaiah 46:10).
You cannot claim to have trust in God when you still rely on your physical knowledge to handle your situations. Why can’t you trust Him to cure your diseases, bless your finances, cause a breakthrough, bring promotion and change every troubling situation in your life?
God seeks men with hearts that totally believe and rely on him to meet their every need. When he finds such an individual, he directs that person in the paths he or she should go. A heart that trusts God waits on him and does not doubt that he is able to save, deliver and prosper. Don’t rely on your understanding, let God have His way in your life and direct you in all of your affairs.
Paul completely trusted God when he said he was ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the name of Jesus. (Acts 21:13-14). A heart that trusts in God is a surrendered heart. Completely surrender your heart to God with full trust in Him and you will become fulfilled on every side.
PRAYER: Lord, as I continually trust in you, continue to direct me and heal me of every affliction in all areas of my life in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: I surrender to God, and I will never lose trust in Him.
