Scripture: Genesis 26:16-22
“Be ye strong therefore,
and let not your hands be weak:
for your work shall be rewarded.”

The devil expects you to give up when he puts obstacles in your way but one of the characteristics a Christian must possess is resilience because the devil will never stop trying to bring God’s children down and
if you keep giving up when he strikes, he will eventually overpower you and win.
The Philistines decided to trouble Isaac by contesting the wells his servants dug at such a time when water was so precious in the desert land. Isaac could have retaliated by starting up a fight with them instead, he dug up new wells. Isaac did not let the obstacles the Philistines were presenting before him stop him from achieving his goal. He kept on digging until God gave him his own that no one could contest with.
When God gives you a gift, the devil will always try to discourage and stop you from receiving it by putting up road blocks to try and truncate your blessing but if you keep on pressing and not give up, your breakthrough will surely come. Do not be discouraged by the devices of the devil. Pick yourself up and keep striving with the belief that all things are possible with God and no one is strong enough to stop what God has destined for you.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to be strong regardless of the situations before me and to keep my faith in you intact in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE: I won’t give up no matter what I see; God is on my side and has great plans for me.
