It is our nature as humans to always strive for better living, hope for a blissful life and more blessings. This is what drives us to work hard and pray that one day; God will remember us and bring helpers our way. We are also very expectant by nature; we expect the good deeds we do to someday be repaid especially when we are in need.
Joseph, despite all his travails, believed God and kept a positive attitude until God remembered him. Our attitude is fundamental to our remembrance by God. The scripture Psalm 112:6 confirms that the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. As a child of God, you are sure that you will never be forgotten if you keep the right attitude and remain righteous.
People may forget your contributions to their success in life, which can make you feel discouraged. Remember that when men fail to turn the candle light on, that is when God, who is the master planner of events can cause the light of favour to be directed at you just like he did for Joseph. So remain hopeful, keep doing good and surely, your day of remembrance will come.
Reflection: Am I standing with the right attitude of righteousness?
PRAYER:
Lord, just as you caused Joseph to be remembered, let the light of your remembrance be turned to my direction, in Jesus name.
FAITH BYTE:
God is causing men and women to remember me because the search light is in my direction.
This Week Walk of Faith: Make attempt to interpret others dreams by inviting them
to Christ so that God will send helpers your way.
