EVIDENCE OF FAITH

Scripture: Hebrews 11:30-40

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17 (KJV)

Most Christians today claim to be “faith filled” when their lives and actions show otherwise. There is nothing to show practically that they have faith because their mouths say one thing, and their actions exhibit the opposite.
It is not enough to profess faith just because you feel it is in fashion, what actions are you using to back up your faith?

The saints mentioned in today’s scripture had evidence to show for the faith they displayed in line with God’s word. This does not mean that they never had their trying moments but their trust in God strengthened their faith and they have a legacy that we can attest to.Today, we can also engage our faith like they did.

What evidence do you have to show that you truly have faith in God? You should always put your faith to work concerning the situations around you that you want to change. Act in accordance with your faith. You cannot ask God for a miracle concerning a situation in your life while your actions are feeding that situation and making it stronger. Focus your faith on that issue or challenge based on the word of God also making sure that you not only confess your faith but act like you are very sure God will and has already done it for you. That is the way to really exercise your faith and show that you trust in God and no one else.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to engage my faith practically so that I will have evidence to show as a believer in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: By faith I conquer every challenge that comes my way always.
