BE READY

Scripture: Matthew 22:1-14

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5 (KJV)

The gospel has been offered freely to everyone without discrimination and so is the kingdom of God accessible to everyone. But you have roles to play to make these possible for you. It is not enough to hear the gospel; you must also live it and share it to with those who have not yet received it.
You must also diligently seek the Kingdom of God above everything else.

It doesn’t matter how bad you think you are or what you have done in the past. There is a place for you at the King’s table. He has invited all to dine with Him. Are you willing to accept his invitation? To be accepted into the kingdom of God, you must be adorned with the garment of righteousness or else you will be thrown out. It is not enough to follow the crowd, or to claim to be a Christian. God sees your heart and knows your intent so you must come to him with a pure heart.

Distinguish yourself through godliness. Prepare yourself to dine with the King of Kings when he comes back for his chosen. Your attitude and character must depict and reflect the righteousness at all times so that you will not just be a called but one of the chosen (Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:10). Remember that the Second Coming is at hand. You must, therefore, stand ready so you will be among the those who will be found without stain or blemish when Jesus comes for is elect.
