THE BLESSING OF GOD

Scripture: Genesis 12:1-4

‘The blessings of the Lord maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it.’’ Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)

The blessing of God is a beautiful gift which cannot fully be described, and quantified. Its absolute, free, unconditional and enduring; from generation to generation. It cannot go stale or go out of value, but new every morning; manifesting the steadfast love and mercy of God (Lamentation 3:22 - 23). He’s indeed, blessed who God has blessed; for such cannot be cursed.

The blessings of God are diverse and manifest in different forms. Good health, long life, peace, joy, prosperity, fruitfulness, is some of the ways by which we can enjoy God’s blessings upon us. Many
believers carry the blessing of God in them but are unaware hence they cannot manifest or enjoy it. Such believers pray needlessly for God to bless them when He has already blessed them. You are a
carrier of the blessing; you are meant to manifest it, not search for or pray for it, because it is already yours in Christ Jesus.

God made the Garden of Eden for man’s enjoyment, but man must cultivate it so he can enjoy it (Genesis 2:15). The same principle is still at work today. You must cultivate or work out your blessings into manifestation. Don’t mistake the blessing for tangible stuff because they are not. Rather, the blessing embodies the divine enablement, skills, capacities, knowledge, ideas, talents, passions, etc. that are amplified in you by the Holy Spirit. You birth the blessings when you put your hands, brain and mind to work, for it is through such that they can be expressed
 (Deuteronomy 14:29).

PRAYER: Father, let the work of my hands manifest your blessings.

FAITH BYTE: I am a carrier of the blessing because I have the Holy Ghost.
